OCI & other Services

 

 

PlO / OCl Cards Download the document here.

Applications for PIO / OCI cards are accepted in the Consular Wing of the Mission from Monday through Friday between 1000 to 1200 hrs.

Services rendered to French Nationals of Indian origin:

A: For a P.l.O. Card (Person of Indian Origin Card) :

Requirements

French passport (original + copy) - (Each child under 18 must have a separate passport)

Proof of Indian origin (birth certificate issued by Indian authorities, previous Indian passport, etc.)

4 recent photographs (identical ones)

Form duly filled up, dated and signed by each applicant (except for minors) to be downloaded from

Fees: (i) 327€ (adult) / 164C (-18 years) in cash

(ii) 333€ (adult) / 170€ (- 18 years) by certified cheque if you apply by post through recorded delivery with acknowledgment.

Kindly note that the P.l.O card is issued for a period of 15years and is normally issued within a month.

B: For an O.C.l. Card (Overseas Citizenship of India Card):

Application form duly filled in online by each applicant (except for minors) at the following link:

https://passport.gov.in/oci/OnlineOCIRegistrationG.jsp

The application must then be printed, dated and signed (signature should be within the box meant for that purpose) and submitted in two sets along with the following documents:

French passport (original + copy)** -(Each child under 18 must have a separate passport)

Livret de famille (original + copy) **

Proof of Indian origin (Indian birth certificate of the applicant or parents or grandparents) **

Indian passport if the applicant was an Indian national [original + copy and/ or Indian passport of parent(s) / grandparent(s)]**

Naturalisation certificate (certificat de nationalité française-) (original + copy)**

4 recent photographs with light coloured background (3.5x 3.5 cms & identical ones)

Fees: (i) For a holder of a P.l.O. card: 22€, in cash / 28€ by certified cheque if you apply by recorded

delivery with acknowledgement.

(ii) For others: 234 € in cash / 240 € by certified cheque if you apply by recorded delivery with acknowledgement.

Kindly note that an 0.C.I. card is a life-long visa and is issued normally within three months.

** All the photocopies should be self-attested by the applicant.
